FY Pitcher Melissa Constantini  (Steubenville, OH/Catholic Central) threw a 4 hit shut out in game one against Point Park as the Celtics celebrated  Senior Night for CF Jess Hall (Vienna, OH/Matthews) who recorded 2 putouts in her final Lind Field appearance. FY Catcher Kelly Constantini (Steubenville, OH/Catholic Central) started the rivalry with a single to left field in the bottom of the second. FY 3B Sam Kemock (Colver, PA/Central Cambria) and Sophomore 2B Becca Blyth (Ellwood City, PA/Lincoln) followed by reaching first and second on throwing errors which allowed Kelly Constantini to score unearned. Another single in the next inning  by FY SS Shelby Rodgers (New Castle, PA/New Castle) (currently ranked 3rd in the AMC at batting with .423 average),  followed by a sac bunt by FY RF Dana Hipple (Lisbon, OH/David Anderson) brought Junior 1B Jess Kemock (Colver, PA/Central Cambria) up to bat.  Jess Kemock (currently ranked 8th in the AMC at batting with a .393 average and 5th in RBI’s per game for a total of 24 in 28 games) did not disappoint with a RBI single that scored Rodgers. Then Sophomore DP Sarah Sevcik (Penn Hills, PA/Penn Hills) blasted a two run homer high down the left field line. The score would not change for the remainder of the game. Leading the Celtics offense was Sevcik (1 HR, 2RBI) Jess Kemock (2 singles, 1RBI), Kelly Constantini (2 singles) and hits from Rodgers, Junior LF Jasmin Dashiell (Monongahela, PA/Ringgold), and FY PH Amy Piotrowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Seton LaSalle).

However, the Point Park Pioneers came back in game two with a vengeance by scoring 4 runs in the first inning and never looked back. The Carlow Celtics managed to score 2 runs led by Jess Kemock, (double, single, 1RBI), Shelby Rodgers, (double, single), Sam Kemock, (single, 1RBI), and a single from FY CF Kaycee Bradosky (Ellwood City, PA/Lincoln). Pitcher Melissa Constantini was tagged with the loss.
